Bermuda Triangle Ride, Seaworld: Gold Coast

The Bermuda Triangle ride at Seaworld on the Queensland's Gold Coast was commissioned in 1996 with Xypex Admix C-1000NF used in the concrete for waterproofing of the water races throughout the ride.

Xypex Admix C-1000NF is a unique chemical treatment for waterproofing, protecting and improvement of concrete. Added at the time of batching, Admix C-1000NF has been specifically formulated to meet project conditions and complies with requirements of AS 1478.1 as a type of SN Special Purpose Admixture.

Xypex prevents the penetration of water and other liquids from any direction by causing a catalytic reaction that produces a non-soluble crystalline formation within the pores and capillary tracts of concrete and cement-based materials.
