Sales and Marketing Representative - Melbourne
Xypex Australia is a leading manufacturer of concrete waterproofing, durability and repair products and is well known for its excellent product range and market leadership. The Company operates Australia-wide as well as in South East Asia.
Xypex Australia markets its crystalline technology and unique repair product range to both the new infrastructure and remedial segments of the concrete and construction industry, including the water industry, rail & road authorities, port authorities and mining, etc.
Due to business expansion we are seeking an outgoing, motivated and innovative experienced Sales and Marketing Representative with previous knowledge and an understanding of concrete waterproofing, protection and repair solutions with a forward thinking approach to join our Melbourne team
To be considered for this position you will require strong skills in the following.
- A strong understanding of concrete, treatments and repair products
- The ability to manage projects from specification to the completion of works.
- Identify strategies and tactics to respond to changing market conditions
- Foster close working relationships with team members and clientele
- Interpret industry information as well as research findings
- An ability to promote and foster networking
- Self motivation
- Time management
- A demonstrated proven ability to communicate with Engineers, Architects, consultants, contractors and specifies on a project and group basis.
- Take pride in the ability to deliver a quality service suited to clients needs.
- A clear knowledge and understanding of waterproofing and remedial products and systems.

State Manager W.A
Xypex Australia is a leading manufacturer of concrete waterproofing and repair products in the construction industry based in Australia and is well known for its excellent product range and market leadership. The Company operates Australia-wide as well as in South East Asia. We are seeking an outgoing and innovative experienced State Manager with a strong understanding of the building and construction industry, as well as proven business management skills in leading and growing teams to achieve business outcomes.
Your main focus will be to drive profitable sales strategies to continue the strong Xypex reputation held for quality and technical expertise. The challenge in this role is to use your own industry established contacts, as well as maintain and grow existing clientele within the building and construction industry. With your, product knowledge and business development skills you will lead and grow the W.A market in conjunction with our dynamic team.
To be considered for this position you will require strong skills in the following
· Proven Sales and Marketing ability
· An ability to promote and foster networking
· A demonstrated proven ability to communicate with Engineers and Architects and specifiers on a project and group basis.
· You will also possess excellent planning, analytical, administrative and computing skills
· Self motivation / Lead by example and a can do attitude
· Proven Business Management skills
· The ability to develop and implement sales strategies to strengthen existing business and increase market share in line with the business focus
· The ability to motivate and effectively lead people to achieve business outcomes
· Manage and analyse monthly sales reports to identify trends within the market and industry
· The ability to develop sales forecasts and financial planning for the management of the state.
