Fonterra (formerley Nestle')

Chemical Resistance was the main priority of the client, Nestle, in the design of the new concrete slabs for the milk tanker wash bays.

The alkaline nature of the tanker cleaning agents coupled with the acidic nature of the dairy products, combined for aggressive chemicals being exposed to the concrete. The client had previously used epoxy coatings with limited success.

Approximately 625 square metres of Xypex Admix C-Series was supplied via Pioneer Concrete.
