The Xypex range of concrete waterproofing and durability enhancement products consist of admixtures and coatings, and a selection of products designed for concrete remediation and protection.

Xypex crystalline technology seals the primary paths by which water and aggressive chemicals penetrate, attack, and ultimately threaten the long-term integrity of concrete structures.

Xypex for New Structures:- Xypex Admix C-Series is a specialty product that is blended into the concrete at the time of batching. It outperforms most other methods because of its unique ability to become an integral part of the concrete matrix.

Xypex Admix C-Series complies with Australian Standards AS1478.1 - Chemical Admixture for Concrete, and AS4020 - Products for Use in Contact with Drinking Water.

Comprehensive independent test data is available for Xypex products, highlighting its unique performance capabilities for scenarios including Acid Resistance, Chloride Resistance, Corrosion, Crack Sealing, Freeze / Thaw and Water Permeability, etc.

Xypex for Concrete Remediation:- Xypex products are suitable for both new and existing concrete structures requiring repair or refurbishment.  Typical applications of Xypex product in a remedial scenario include crack repair, spalling repair and surface protection or reinstatement with the Xypex coating system.

The crystalline nature of the Xypex waterproofing system provides many application advantages:-
- Xypex will seal hairline cracks up to 0.4 mm.
- Xypex is permanent and reactivates whenever water is present.
- Xypex does not require a dry surface; in fact, a wet surface is necessary.
- Xypex does not require dry weather to be applied.
- Xypex does not require costly surface priming or levelling prior to application.
- It does not require protection during backfilling or during placement of steel, wire mesh or other materials.
- It can be applied on either side of a concrete surface — the negative or the positive (water pressure) side.
- It is not subject to the deterioration problems encountered by membranes, eg. blistering, delamination.

Reduced Costs
Xypex crystalline technology is less costly to apply than most other waterproofing methods. Construction schedules can be accelerated and cost savings realised by eliminating most of the time and labour costs associated with traditional waterproofing methods.
