Xypex Australia Celebrates 20 Years

2011 sees a major milestone reached for Xypex Australia, celebrating 20 years of providing quality concrete solutions throughout Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Xypex Australia was one of the first licensed manufacturers and marketers of Xypex products outside of Canada. What started as a small team in the regional town of Albury has grown into an Australiasian success with offices in Albury, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. “Reflecting on the past 20 years, it’s amazing what we have achieved” commented Managing Director Rob Godson.

“We first focused on fixing farm concrete tanks and while we will never forget where we came from, watching the company redefine itself from waterproofing to concrete solutions is a major highlight and this has allowed us to provide solutions for a broader range of concrete issues in new and older structures that need treatment and or remedial repairs”.

With completed projects such as the Sydney Olympic Stadium here in Australia to Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, to Roller Compacted Dams in Tasmania, Xypex Australia continues to be a market leader.

Xypex Australia was awarded 31^st fastest growing private company in 1999 (BRW) and was recognised by Xypex Chemical Corporation Canada last month for reaching 20 years of successful business utilising all the Xypex products available.
