After three years of research carried out at the UNSW, Australian Centre For Construction Innovation Xypex Admix C-Series has been proven to enhance the durability of concrete regardless of the cement types used. This programme has now resulted in the development of Xypex Admix C-5000, Xypex Durability Enhancement By Crystallization™.
Results to date have been outstanding, and show that significant life can be added to concrete with the use of Xypex. This coupled with the reduced maintenance costs throughout the design life of the concrete offers infrastructure owners considerable savings. Admix C-5000 is also compliant to AS 1478.1, Chemical Admixtures For Concrete, Special Purpose Type SN.
