Xypex Concentrate has been selected to waterproof the Dhammakaya Foundation’s 3,000m2 basement slab and an additional 5,000 m2 for the walls and roof at the new Suphan Buri Temple complex. Achieving this milestone required significant performance and assessment comparisons with other industry products before Xypex was selected. The application was awarded to NTP Applicators, whom to date have completed basement slab works with nil leakage reported. Xypex Concentrate coating has also been specified to protect the structural durability for Wat Dhammakaya at Klong Luang, a temple located in northern Bangkok. A total of approximately 47,000m2 of Xypex specified concrete will be applied as a coating by NTP Applicator Co. to elevated stands that enclose the concrete forecourt area.

After 6 years testing and assessment of many products by project owners Muang Tong Services and Management Limited, NTP Applicators have been awarded a contract to remediate concrete roof decks of 23 high rise apartment blocks. Called the Muang Tong Thani High Rise Restoration Project, the repair system is to remediate approximately 63,000 m2 of concrete roofing and provide waterproofing protection.

NTP Applicators recently completed a 45 day rejuvenation project on Ratchada Square Tower, a 15 year old structure suffering from concrete spalling. Xypex Concentrate was used to protect “spalling” reinforcing steel, Xypex Patch n’ Plug to return structural mass and finally a render coating to return concrete contour. The application is expected to provide many years additional life to the remediated areas, in excess of their “new construction” design life. In total, 3000 m2 of effected concrete was repaired and rejuvenated by NTP Applicators.
