Walls, floors and perimeter troughs of four leachate tanks were treated with Xypex Concentrate and Xypex Modified. Each tank is 24.5 metres (80 ft) in diameter with 4.5 metre (15 ft) vertical walls. Cominco, one of the largest mining companies in Canada, used their own personnel to carry out the spray application under supervision of a Xypex technical representative.
