Technical Series in Concrete Technology: Part 1

Abstract

In this article, Concrete Durability and Service Life of structure are discussed. In our business, we read these concepts in books, magazines, journals, hear in our conversations, and use in our meetings a lot. We should know that durability and service life are related but they are not synonyms. This matter was the motivation of writing this article. Durability is a property of the concrete which is related to microstructure of the concrete and service life, which is quality of time, is related to structure.
